Damascus at 59E59's Theater A

The Traverse Theatre Company present Damascus, by David Greig, opening at the 59E59's Theater A on 11 May 2008, following previews from 6 May and running through to 1 Jun 2008. The play is presented as part of 59E59 Theaters' Brits off-Broadway festival.

Damascus: An English language textbook salesman on assignment to the oldest continuously inhabited city on earth.

Directed by Philip Howard, Damascus features Ewen Bremner, Nathalie Armin, Alex Elliott, Dolya Gavanski and Khalid Laith.

The creative team comprises Anthony MacIlwaine (sets & costumes), Chahine Yavroyan (lighting) and Graham Sutherland (sound).
