Ken Davenport and Michael Jackowitz present the New York premiere of Daddy Long Legs, directed by John Caird, at the Davenport Theatre. Previews begin on 10 September 2015, before an official opening on 28 September, with a limited engagament through to 10 January 2016.

Daddy Long Legs features music and lyrics by Tony nominee Paul Gordon, book by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner John Caird, and is based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster.

The cast includes Megan McGinnis, who will be reprising her role of Jerusha Abbott (which she originated at the 2009 premiere at the Rubicon Theatre Company). She will be joined by Paul Alexander Nolan (who will be making his off-Broadway debut as Daddy Long Legs).

Synopsis: "Daddy Long Legs tells the extraordinary tale of Jerusha Abbott (McGinnis), the oldest orphan in the John Grier Home. One day, a rich, anonymous benefactor (Nolan) decides to send her to college, but she must write him a letter once a month. Unaware of his identity, she invents a nickname for him: Daddy Long Legs. Through her brilliant and witty letters, Jerusha shares her experiences of college while discovering her own identity and reveling in the wonders of literature, adventure and love. But one key fact eludes her - who is Daddy Long Legs?"

The creative team features scenic and costume design by Olivier winner and Tony nominee David Farley and lighting design by Paul Toben.
