Complete casting has now been announced for the Broadway premiere of Amélie, the new musical adaptation of the 2001 French film. Directed by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon, the production will officially open at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre on 3 April 2017, following previews from 9 March.

Joining the previously announced lead principals of Tony nominee Phillipa Soo in the title role and Adam Chanler-Berat (as Nino), will be (in alphabetical order) David Andino (Blind Beggar/Garden Gnome), Randy Blair (Hipolito), Heath Calvert (Lucien/Lug/Mysterious Man), Alison Cimmet (Amandine/Philomene), Savvy Crawford (Young Amélie), Tony nominee Manoel Felciano (Raphael/Bretodeaux), Harriett D. Foy (Suzanne), Alyse Alan Louis (Georgette/Sylvie), Maria-Christina Oliveras (Gina), Tony nominee Tony Sheldon (Collignon/Dufayel) and Paul Whitty (Joseph).

Amélie features a book by three-time Tony nominee Craig Lucas, music by Daniel Messé, and lyrics by Nathan Tysen & Daniel Messé.

Synopsis: "The musical follows the mesmerizing journey of the inquisitive and charmingly shy Amélie who turns the streets of Montmartre into a world of her own imagining, while secretly orchestrating moments of joy for those around her. After discovering a mysterious photo album and meeting a handsome stranger, Amélie realizes that helping others is easier than participating in a romantic story of her own."

The creative team behind Amélie features musical staging and choreography by Sam Pinkleton, musical direction by Kimberly Grigsby, vocal arrangements by Kimberly Grigsby and Daniel Messé, orchestrations by Tony winner Bruce Coughlin, scenic and costume design by Tony winner David Zinn, lighting design by Tony nominee Jane Cox and Mark Barton, sound design by Tony nominee Kai Harada, and projection design by Peter Nigrini.

Amélie is produced on Broadway by Harbor Entertainment, Triptyk Studios and Spencer Ross.

The entire Broadway cast recently completed a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, which ran from December 4, 2016 through to January 15, 2017.

On screen, she played the character of Lexi in NBC's musical series "Smash" and will lend her voice to the upcoming Disney animated classic "Moana."

His off-Broadway credits include 'The Fortress of Solitude' (Public Theater), 'Fly By Night: A New Musical' (Playwrights Horizons) and 'Rent' (New World Stages). His screen credits include "Delivery Man," "It Could Be Worse," and "The Life Before Her Eyes."
