City of Angels, at the Concert Hall at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts will present the musical comedy City of Angels, score by Cy Coleman, lyrics by David Zippel, and book by Larry Gelbart, at the school's concert hall, from 7 - 15 Dec 2007.

City of Angels: Stine is struggling to adapt his detective story, based in Hollywood in the late 1940's, as he reworks his book, we follow the books protagonist, Detective Stone, on his adventures

This show is the world premier of original choreography created by choreographer, Walter Painter, who originated the musical staging for the Broadway, National and London productions. City of Angels will feature a cast of 30 students, a 20-piece jazz ensemble, a 35 member technical crew, and a custom-built revolving stage.
