Buyer & Cellar extends run by one week

Rattlestick Playwrights' world premiere production of Jonathan Tolins' comedy Buyer & Cellar, direted by Stephen Brackett and starring Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), has extended its run by one week and will now play through to 12 May 2013.

Buyer & Cellar opened at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater on 03 Apr 2013, following previews from 20 Mar 2013, and was originally scheduled to close on 04 May 2013.

Buyer & Cellar: Alex More has a story to tell. A struggling actor in L.A., Alex takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs?

The design team includes Andrew Boyce (Sets), Jessica Pabst (Costumes), Eric Southern (Lights) and Stowe Nelson (Sound).
