Big Thick Rod at the New School for Drama Theater

Rabbit Hole Ensemble present Big Thick Rod, by Stanton Wood, at the New School for Drama Theater from 10 - 22 Aug 2008, as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

Big Thick Rod is a neo-realist fairy tale that follows a wood nymph named Cricket who leaves the forest to marry a lawyer, only to discover that he never wants to have sex. Since sex is an essential part of her magical nature, she hires a simple handyman named Rod to 'make up the difference', and a power struggle begins.

Directed by Edward Elefterion, Big Thick Rod features Arthur Aulisi, Tatiana Gomberg, Dan Ajl Kitrosser, Matt W. Cody and Emily Hartford.

The creative team includes Michael Tester (costumes) and Avery Lewis (lighting).
