Betrothed at the Ohio Theater

The Amas Musical Theatre AcademyRipe Time present Betrothed, by Rachel Dickstein, based on S. Ansky's 'The Dybbuk,' Anton Chekhov's 'Betrothed,' and Jhumpa Lahiri's 'The Treatment of Bibi Haldar', at the Ohio Theater from 4 - 26 May 2007.

Betrothed examines three women�s struggle between marriage and personal independence.

Directed by Rachel Dickstein, Betrothed features Mahira Kakkar, Derek Lucci, Paula McGonagle, Laura Butler, Lula Graves, Daniel Irizarry, Ryan Justesan, Gita Reddy and Alok Tewari.

Set design by Susan Zeeman Rogers, with costumes by Oana Botez-Ban and lighting by Nicole Pearce.
