'Bartleby, The Scrivener' at the Blue Heron Arts Center


The Blue Heron Theatre presents Bartleby, The Scrivener, an adaptation of Herman Melville's famous novella about Wall Street, by R.L. Lane, opening at the Blue Heron Arts Center on the 6 Nov 2005, following previews from the 3 Nov and running through to the 27 Nov 2005.

Bartleby, The Scrivener: Into the stifling environment of copiers of legal documents comes a pale, thin, ghost-like young man (Bartleby) who overturns the lives of all whom he meets including Standard, his boss.

The cast for Bartleby, The Scrivener, directed by Alessandro Fabrizi, stars Gerry Bamman (Standard), Marco Quaglia (Bartleby) and also features: Jeff Burchfield, Sterling Coyne, Hunter Gilmore, Robert Grossman, Christian Haines, and Brian Linden.

Bartleby, The Scrivener has set and lighting design by Harry Feiner, costumes by David Ballard and sound by David Lawson.
