Based on the cult classic 1985 film, the Back to the Future musical follows Marty McFly as he time-travels from 1985 to 1955, almost preventing his high school sweetheart parents from falling in love while there. Marty must race against the clock to save his own future.

New York Theatre Guide's four-star Back to the Future review calls the show "1.21 gigawatts of fun, heart, and spectacle... [it] gives Back to the Future the larger-than-life presentation it deserves."

Before coming to Broadway, Back to the Future premiered in London's West End, where it won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Roger Bart and Hugh Coles reprise their roles from London as Doc Brown and George McFly, respectively, opposite Casey Likes as Marty McFly, Liana Hunt as Lorraine Baines, Jelani Remy as Goldie Wilson/Marvin Berry, and Nathaniel Hackmann as Biff Tannen.
