Ayo Edebiri, David Hyde Pierce, Danielle Brooks, Jin Ha to star in 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' off Broadway

They're a good cast, Charlie Brown! New York City Center has set initial casting for its upcoming production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, with Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) as Charlie Brown, Oscar and Tony nominee Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black) as Lucy, Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as Snoopy, and Jin Ha (Hamilton) as Linus.

Oh, Mary! Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton directs the musical, adapted by Charles M. Schluz's Peanuts comic strip. The show has music, lyrics, and a book by Clark Gesner, choreography by Sunny Min-Sook Hitt, and music direction by Meghann Zervoulis Bate.

Additional cast and creative team members have yet to be announced.

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown runs February 3-14 as the first production in New York City Center's 2027 Encores! series, consisting of three rarely revived musicals each year performed as concert stagings.
