MCC Theater has now confirmed complete casting for its forthcoming world premiere of Transfers, written by Obie Award winner Lucy Thurber and directed by Jackson Gay, which is set to begin previews on April 5 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, before an official opening on April 23 and a limited engagement through to May 13, 2018.

After two years at a local community college being coached by faculty members, the young men are competing for a life-changing scholarship at an elite northeast university. During a campus visit, the young men are unexpectedly confronted with their shared past while trying to break through a system that seems designed to keep them on the outside."
The creative team features scenic design by Tony Award winner Donyale Werle, costume design by Jessica Ford, lighting design by Russell H. Champa, and sound design by Broken Chord.
MCC Theater's 2017-2018 off-Broadway season also includes the current world premiere of JC Lee's Relevance, directed by Tony Award nominee Liesl Tommy and starring Tony Award winner Jayne Houdyshell, which runs through to March 11, 2018, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
