Artfuckers at Theater For The New City

Theater for the New City presents Artfuckers, by Michael Domitrovich, opening at Theater For The New City's Cino Theatre on 17 Feb 07, following previews from 15 Feb and running through to 4 Mar 2007.

Artfuckers follows a group of young, hot, creative twentysomething fashionistas who are collaborating on their friend's debut showing for New York Fashion Week. At the epicenter of this cultural quake are artist Owen Fitzgerald and his model/girlfriend Bella. When Owen overdoses after getting bad reviews on his first solo show, he is forced to examine the lives he and his hedonistic friends are leading, searching for that eternal yet elusive balance between indulgence and inspiration in both art and life..

Directed by Eduardo Machado, Artfuckers features Asher Goodman (Trevor), Tuomas Hiltunen (Max), Jessica Kaye (Maggie), Nicole LaLiberte (Bella) and David Marcus (Owen).

Set design by Mikiko Suzuki, with costumes by Oana Botez-Ban, lighting by Lucas Krech and sound David M. Lawson.
