Arpeggio at 45th Street Theatre


Maieutic Theatre Works presents Arpeggio - a drama with music, play and lyrics by David Stallings, score by Alec Bridges, opening at 45th Street Theatre - Upstairs on 3 Nov 2007, following previews from 1 Nov 2007 and running through to 18 Nov 2007.

Arpeggio: Zeb, the personal assistant and best friend to fading pop superstar, Cindy Hall, is consumed by loneliness so he decides to take on a new roommate, Gerry. Zeb and Gerry become fast friends. He confides in her about the uncertainty of his relationship with his new illegal immigrant boyfriend, Ricardo�although they feel greatly for each other, they are wary of a future together. Gerry confides in Zeb that she has a secret - a passionate affair with rock sensation Tobin Grey. The story reveals more secrets, which devastate their illusions and lives, spotlighting America's obsession with celebrity, and its tragic effects.

Directed by Cristina Alicea and choreographed by Carolina Almont, Arpeggio features Jonathan Albert as Tobin Grey, Allison Ikin as Gerry, Kristina Kohl as Cindy Hall, Marino Antonio Minino as Ricardo and Andy Travis as Zeb..

The design team comprises Craig Napoliello (sets), Angela Curcuru (costumes) and Ian Crawford (lighting).
