Antoine Bleck in cabaret at Joe's Pub

Joe's Pub presents Antoine Bleck, in cabaret at Joe's Pub on 31 Aug 2006.

Antoine Bleck celebrates the release of his new CD 'Mes Illusions' (whose title track features lyrics cowritten with Charlelie Couture.) With a jazzy pop style that has been described as 'bluesy funky with a 'je ne sais quoi' French style', his music is inspired Steely Dan, Michael Franks, and closer to his origins, Michel Jonaz, Jacques Dutronc and Serge Gainsbourg. Bleck captures the hearts of sophisticated audiences with lyrics that go from hilarous to sentimental, describing moods, situations and fantasies from his adolescence.

Antoine Bleck will be accompanied by Ray Parker on bass and Marc Shulman on guitar.
