America Lovesexdeath at the Flea Theater


The Flea Theater opens their fall season with America Lovesexdeath , a mime show for the mature audience, created and performed by Billy The Mime, opening at the Flea Theater on the 6 Sep 2007, following previews from 23 Aug and running through to 29 Sep 2007.

America Lovesexdeath tackle controversial subject matter with such routines as 'JFK JR. We Hardly Knew Ye,' 'Close To Her: Karen Carpenter,' 'Slave!,' 'World War II,' 'Thomas & Sally: A Night at Monticello,' 'The Priest and The Altar Boy,' 'The Abortion,' 'Terry Schiavo, Adieu,' 'A Night in San Francisco - 1979,' 'A Day Called 9/11,' 'Kurt Cobain: Why?,' 'Christopher Reeve: A Super Man,' 'Love & Death: OJ and Nicole,' 'A Night with Jeffrey Dahmer' and 'Virginia Tech 4/16/07.'

In a press statement the Flea's Artistic Director Jim Simpson said, �Billy The Mime is The Flea - controversial, political and fearless. Not your average mime and the perfect opener for The Flea's fall season.�

America Lovesexdeath features set design by Kyle Chepulis, lighting design by Brian Aldous and costume design by Eleni J. Christou.
