'A Woman Of Will' to close on the 9 Oct

A Woman Of Will, a new musical starring Amanda McBroom will play its final performance on the 9 Oct 2005, the show had been booking to the 30 Jan 2006. The musical opened at the Daryl Roth Theatre on the 2 Oct 2005, following previews from the 17 Sep. At the conclusion of the run, the show will have played 16 previews and nine regular performances.

A Woman Of Will is the musical adventure of a writer in crisis � both personal and professional. Hired to finish the lyrics of a Broadway-bound musical version of The Merchant of Venice, Kate faces the demands of an unrelenting deadline in addition to important decisions about her marriage and future. In desperation, she reaches out to Shakespeare�s leading ladies for guidance.

A Woman Of Will as book by Joel Silberman and Amanda McBroom, lyrics by Amanda McBroom and music by Joel Silberman. The musical is directed by Joel Silberman and stars Amanda McBroom as Kate.

Ms McBroom's theatre credits include starring in the New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and European productions of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris; on Broadway in Seesaw; and leading roles including Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Desiree in A Little Night Music and the title role in Mame.

The design team for A Woman Of Will is Trefoni Michael Rizzi (Scenic, projection & lighting Design), Tobin Ost (Costume Design) and Lewis Mead (Sound Design).
