A (Tooth) Fairy Tale played it final performance on 20 Apr

Vital Theatre Company production of A (Tooth) Fairy Tale played its final performace at the Soho Playhouse on 20th Apr 2008.

A new production on the boards at the Soho Playhouse, with an extensive stage set precluded the sharing of the performance space which has been the key to the company's ability to efficently and ecomonically move its productions to larger venues for extended runs.

A (Tooth) Fairy Tale which was scheduled to run through to 25 May 2008 played to sold-out audiences at Vital Theatre before moving to the 175-seat Soho Playhouse. The production featured music and lyrics by Rick Hip-Flores, book by Ben Winters.

A (Tooth) Fairy Tale: collecting teeth and delivering quarters is tiring work, and The Tooth Fairy is ready for a vacation! Luckily, she meets a young boy named Samuel who is sick and tired of being a kid, and all the rules that go with it. But when Samuel and the Tooth Fairy arrange to switch places, nothing goes exactly as planned as adventures ensue across the Upper West Side of Manhattan and throughout New York City.

Directed by Linda Key, and choreographed by Dax Valdes, A (Tooth) Fairy Tale featured Jarusha Ariel, Chris Braca, Holly Buczek, Jordan Hamessley, Erik Hogan, John Magalhaes and Kristina Teschner.

The creative team featured Jacqelyn Marolt (sets), Hunter Kaczorowski (costumes) and Rebecca M. K. Makus (lighting).

Vital Theatre Company productions of Pinkalicious, The Musical, currently running at New World Stages and The Top Job, now playing at the McGinn Cazale Theatre, continue their run as schduled.
