The New York premiere of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange, directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, will play its final performance at off-Broadway's New World Stages on December 2, 2017. Previews began on September 2, 2017, with the limited 16-week engagement initially intended to run through to January 6, 2018. An official Opening Night was held on September 25. Read our 4-star review.

Synopsis: "A Clockwork Orange lures audiences into a glass-edged, testosterone-filled underworld of a dystopian future. The explosive story of little Alex and his rebellious gang of Droogs is a ground-breaking classic of orgiastic ultra-violence and sexuality. As hauntingly relevant today as when Burgess' book first published in 1962, and when Stanley Kubrick's ground-breaking film caused a stir in 1971, A Clockwork Orange is an unapologetic celebration of the human condition."

The cast includes original London star Jonno Davies (as Alex De-Large), Matt Doyle (as Georgie), Sean Patrick Higgins (as Dim), Brian Lee Huynh (as Frank/Dr. Brodsky),Timothy Sekk (as Chaplain/Deltoid), Aleksander Varadian (as Marty/Warder), Ashley Robinson (as Minister/Old Woman), Jimmy Brooks (as F-Me Pumps/Governor), Misha Osherovich (as Pete), and Jordan Bondurant as a swing.

The production enjoyed a critically-acclaimed run at London's Park Theatre in February of this year and was previously seen at the Soho Theatre in 2012. London star Jonno Davies, making his NY stage debut, is perhaps best known for his role as Lee in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and also appeared in the West End production of 'Shakespeare in Love.'

The creative team behind A Clockwork Orange features lighting design by James Baggaley, sound design by Emma Wilk, and costume coordination by Jennifer A. Jacob.

A Clockwork Orange is produced off-Broadway by Glynis Henderson Productions, Martian Entertainment and Matthew Gregory for ABA UK.

A Clockwork Orange Tickets are available now for performances through to December 2, 2017.
