Good times never felt so good! A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical is coming to Broadway this fall. The show will play the Broadhurst Theatre beginning November 2, and opening night is on December 4. The production coincides with the 50th anniversary of Diamond's 1972 concert series at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre.

A Beautiful Noise follows Diamond's career from his beginnings as a young Brooklyn songwriter in the 1960s to his five decades as a Grammy Award-winning superstar who's sold out countless concerts around the world. The musical has two actors play him at different stages of his life: Diamond as a young man and Diamond now. The show contains many of his greatest hits including "Sweet Caroline," "America," "Hello," and more.

The show is about to play its pre-Broadway run at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre this summer. The cast of that production includes Tony nominee Will Swenson as young Neil Diamond, Tony Award nominee Mark Jacoby as older Neil Diamond, Tony Award nominee Robyn Hurder as Marcia, Linda Powell as Doctor, Jessie Fisher as Jaye Posner, Michael McCormick as Fred Colby and Tommy O'Rourke, Tom Alan Robbins as Bert Berns and Kieve Diamond, and Bri Sudia as Ellie Greenwich and Rose Diamond.

Casting for the Broadway production has yet to be announced.

Michael Mayer, who directs the current Funny Girl revival on Broadway and the Boston production of A Beautiful Noise, will also direct the Broadway premiere. The creative team also includes choreographer Steven Hoggett, Tony Award-winning set designer David Rockwell, Tony Award-nominated costume designer Emilio Sosa, four-time Tony Award-winning lighting designer Kevin Adams, Tony Award-winning sound designer Jessica Paz, and hair and wig designer Luc Verschueren.
