The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing have set initial details for the 2024 Tony Awards. This year's ceremony will take place on June 16 at the David H. Koch Theater in the Lincoln Center performing arts complex.

This is the second year in a row that the Tonys will take place at a new venue. In 2023, the ceremony occurred at the United Palace theatre in Washington Heights for the first time. In recent years, Radio City Music Hall and the Beacon Theatre have most commonly hosted the Tonys.

The Koch is best known for presenting the New York City Ballet's performances. It is one of multiple performance venues in Lincoln Center (including one Broadway house, the Vivian Beaumont Theater) and has a seating capacity of 2,550.

Additionally, the League and Wing have announced that the cutoff date for 2024 Tony Awards eligibility will be April 25; shows must officially open by then to be considered. Nominations will be announced on April 30.

The annual Tony Awards recognize the best of the Broadway season each year, encompassing shows, performers, directors, writers, designers, and more. As in previous years, the 2024 ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS.
