Bernie Williams

Bernie Williams makes his Broadway debut as a member of the onstage band in Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre from October 22 to November 29, 2026.

Williams is best known for his 16-year Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees, becoming a five-time MLB All-Star, four-time World Series champion, four-time Gold Glove Award winner, and 1998 American League batting titleholder with the team. He was also named the 1996 American League Championship Series MV, and his jersey number, 51, was retired by the Yankees in 2015.

He is also a classically trained guitarist and musician with two albums, The Journey Within and the Latin Grammy Award-nominated Moving Forward, that blend jazz, classical, Latin, rock, and contemporary sounds. He has performed at storied venues like Carnegie Hall and collaborated with artists like Bruce Springsteen, Jon Secada, and Dave Koz.
