Beanie Feldstein stars as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway in spring 2022.

Beanie Feldstein is a film, television, and stage actress. She was born Elizabeth Greer Feldstein on June 24, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. She is the younger sister of actor Jonah Hill and the late music manager Jordan Feldstein.

Feldstein made her acting debut on television in 2002, appearing in one episode of the ABC sitcom My Wife and Kids as a child (on which she sang a snippet of "Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl). Her later television roles include a 2015 guest appearance in Orange Is the New Black's third season on Netflix, a guest appearance on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace in 2017, and a recurring role on the first season of FX's horror-comedy What We Do in the Shadows. She stars as Monica Lewinsky in American Crime Story: Impeachment, the third season of FX's true crime series.

However, Feldstein is best known for her roles in films. Her breakout role was as Nora Clerk in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, a 2016 comedy starring Zac Efron and Seth Rogen. She would go on to star as Julie Steffans in the 2017 Greta Gerwig film Lady Bird alongside Saiorse Ronan in the title role. In 2019, Feldstein played the leading role of Molly Davidson in Olivia Wilde's 2019 coming-of-age comedy Booksmart, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

Feldstein made her Broadway debut in the 2017 Bette Middler-led revival of Hello, Dolly! in the role of Minnie Fay. That and the upcoming Funny Girl revival are her sole stage credits, but she is set to star in two upcoming film adaptations of theatrical works. Feldstein will play Brigid in the 2021 adaptation of Stephen Karam's play The Humans, as well as Mary Flynn in the film adaptation of Merrily We Roll Along alongside fellow Broadway actor and longtime friend Ben Platt.
