If you feel it in your fingers and you feel it in your toes, then love is all around and that can mean only one thing... Yes, it's Valentine's Day, folks! We at the New York Theare Guide are definitely feeling the love this year, so we decided to choose our ten favorite love songs which can still be heard eight times a week on Broadway (or 8,000 times a week, if you own the Original Broadway Cast Recordings!) A mixture of timeless classics and fresh offerings, from humorous to heart-wrenching, check out which love songs made our Top 10...

10) A Bronx Tale - "One of the Great Ones"

This is L-O-V-E Bronx-style, folks! Sung with charm and gusto by original cast member and Broadway favorite Nick Cordero, "One of the Great Ones" is not just our favorite love song, but our favorite of all the musical numbers in A Bronx Tale - The Musical, as Sonny educates us all on how to recognize and hold onto that special someone in our lives... They don't come around that often! With music by the legendary Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater, this really is one of the great ones!

A Bronx Tale - The Musical Tickets are available now for performances through to November 18, 2018.

9) The Phantom of the Opera - "All I Ask of You"

Well, you knew Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber would have to feature somewhere on our list and we dare say that this iconic love song from The Phantom of the Opera might well feature in a "Top Broadway Love Songs of All-Time" list. Performed on the roof of the Paris Opera House under the cover of a starry, night sky, "All I Ask of You" (which features lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe) offers glimmers of hope for Christine Daaé and her childhood sweetheart Raoul in the face of the possessive and dangerous control of the Phantom. Check out this version from the 2004 film adaptation, performed by Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson... That's all we ask of you...

The Phantom of the Opera Tickets are available now for performances through to June 30, 2018.

8) Aladdin - "A Million Miles Away"

Alan Menken and Sir Tim Rice's Oscar and Grammy Award-winning song "A Whole New World" from Disney's Aladdin has had quite enough exposure since 1992, and yes, its Broadway rendition is arguably the most romantic scene in a current Broadway musical (with the help of a certain magic carpet), but we've opted for a different Disney song this year and have chosen one from a scene in Act I on the first day Aladdin and Princess Jasmine meet, sat on Aladdin's rooftop, when love first truly begins to blossom. Written especially for the stage musical, with music by Menken and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, this is "A Million Miles Away" performed by original cast members Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed...

Disney's Aladdin Tickets are available now for performances through to August 12, 2018.

7) Wicked - "As Long As You're Mine"

Cliché though it may be, perhaps no other musical teaches us that love is blind and beauty is only skin deep than the long-running smash hit Wicked. When Shiz University heartthrob Fiyero rejects the stereotypical romance with popular (and blonde) girl Glinda and falls for the green-skinned outcast Elphaba, the pair sing "As Long As You're Mine" and seal it with a kiss. Needless to say, Oz fans go crazy for that moment every night, so, here it is in our Top 10, written by the incomparable Stephen Schwartz and performed by original cast members Norbert Leo Butz and the one and only Idina Menzel...

Wicked Tickets are available now for performances through to September 16, 2018.

6) The Lion King - "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?"

Sir Elton John and Sir Tim Rice really outdid themselves when they wrote the songs for the 1994 classic The Lion King and its main ballad "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" would go on to win both an Oscar and a Grammy Award after the film's release. The 1997 Broadway musical breathed new life into the number with ensemble members surrounding Simba and Nala as a living, organic jungle, serenading our two protagonists as they discover their long lost friendship has now evolved into something else. No doubt everybody will be feeling the love once again after the Disney live-action/CGI remake is released in July 2019, but until then, here's original cast members Jason Raize and, of course, Heather Headley...

Disney's The Lion King Tickets are available now for performances through to August 12, 2018.

5) The Book of Mormon - "Baptize Me"

Who says love can't be hilarious?! This entry in our Top 10 is as sweet as it is side-splitting and comes to us from two star-crossed (would-be) lovers in Broadway juggernaut The Book of Mormon. When socially awkward outcast Elder Cunningham gets the opportunity to baptize someone for the first time, the sexual innuendos run rampant as he takes young Nabulungi in his arms. Yes, he's gonna do it with a girl, folks, and they're going all the way! Written by EGOT winner Robert Lopez and "South Park" creators Trey Parker & Matt Stone, let yourself get wet with salvation and take a listen to original cast members Josh Gad and Nikki M. James...

The Book of Mormon Tickets are available now for performances through to October 7, 2018.

4) Once on This Island - "Some Girls"

Our Broadway love song in fourth place comes to us from our favorite new production of last fall and is a part of perhaps the most hearbreaking tale currently being told on the Great White Way. "Some Girls" from Once on This Island, featuring music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, is a beautifully innocent and melodic tune that comes at the point of the story when Daniel is falling in love with our main protagonist Ti Moune in a touching and gently directed scene by Michael Arden. Although the New Cast Recording isn't available until February 23, take a look at this enchanting video clip from the Broadway revival itself, featuring Isaac Powell as Daniel, serenading Hailey Kilgore as Ti Moune...

Once on This Island Tickets are available now for performances through to December 30, 2018.

3) Waitress - "You Matter To Me"

Tony and six-time Grammy Award nominee Sara Bareilles certainly knows how to write a love song. In fact, "Love Song" is even the name of her biggest hit to date, and when she penned this moving ballad for Broadway's hit musical Waitress, she surely broke a few theatre fans' hearts along the way. Love, of course, can be very complicated and sometimes people find themselves in love with a person outside of their loveless marriages. This is certainly the case for our leading lady Jenna, a victim of an abusive relationship with husband Earl, who has unintentionally fallen head over heels for the charming Dr. Pomatter. Here's original cast members Jessie Mueller and Drew Gehling with "You Matter To Me"...

Waitress Tickets are available now for performances through to December 23, 2018.

2) Hamilton - "Helpless"

The most upbeat entry in our list comes to us from the one and only Lin-Manuel Miranda and his musical phenomenon Hamilton. During "Helpless," we discover the circumstances of how Eliza Schuyler first met Alexander Hamilton, how her sister Angelica introduced them to each other and how both ended up helplessly falling in love. The song's narrative follows Eliza's inner thoughts and fears to the tune of a modern, RnB vibe that positively captures the essence of young love. So, without any further ado, take a listen to Tony Award nominee Phillipa Soo, accompanied by fellow original cast members Lin-Manuel Miranda and Renée Elise Goldsberry...

Hamilton Tickets are available now for performances through to January 19, 2019.

1) Dear Evan Hansen - "Only Us"

Finally, in first place we have a musical number from the recently crowned Grammy Award-winning cast recording of Dear Evan Hansen. Written by shooting stars Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (currently Oscar-nominated for epic anthem "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman"), what makes this ballad so poignant is that it comes at the point of the musical when the complete outsider, previously doomed to notions of unrequited love, actually gets the girl. "I never thought there'd be someone like you who would want me"... We've all been in that boat, Evan! Take a listen to our Number 1, "Only Us," performed by original cast members Laura Dreyfuss and Tony Award winner Ben Platt...

Dear Evan Hansen Tickets are available now for performances through to January 6, 2019.

Happy Valentine's Day to all our readers and may Broadway continue to fill your hearts with love for years and years to come!
