Broadway's Tony Award-winning "Best Musical" Kinky Boots has found its next Charlie Price. UK pop sensation Conor Maynard will make his Broadway debut and assume the role for a limited engagement from November 20, 2018 through to January 10, 2019 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Current cast member and two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champion Mark Ballas will play his final performance as Charlie Price on November 18, as scheduled.

Mr. Maynard issued the following statement: “I am honored and beyond excited to be able to join the incredible company of Kinky Boots. I’ve always truly admired the talent that performers on Broadway possess and performing alongside them is going to be a real challenge. I’m so lucky to have the most devoted fans on the planet, and I can’t wait to show them another side of me.”

Conor Maynard is a singer-songwriter, born in Brighton, England, who rose to fame in 2012 after winning MTV's "Brand New for 2012" award. His debut album "Contrast" shot to number 1 on the UK album charts in July 2012, spawning such hits as "Can't Say No," "Vegas Girl," "Turn Around, and "Animal".

Kinky Boots officially opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on April 4, 2013, following previews from March 3. Synopsis: "Charlie Price is forced to step in and save his family’s shoe factory in Northern England following the sudden death of his father. Help comes from the unlikeliest angel, a fabulous drag performer named Lola. Together, this improbable duo revitalizes the failing business, while stepping out from their fathers' shadows and transforming an entire community through the power of acceptance."
