The Grammy Award winner will guest star in the upcoming Broadway premiere of Rocktopia at the Broadway Theatre.
Producers of the upcoming Broadway engagement of Rocktopia have confirmed that Pat Monahan, a three-time Grammy Award winner and frontman of multi-platinum-selling band Train, will officially make his Broadway debut in the international music sensation. He will join the previously announced company of Rob Evan, Chloe Lowery, Tony Vincent, Kimberly Nichole, and Alyson Cambridge for the first three weeks of the run, from March 20 to April 8, 2018.
As founder and lead singer of Train, Monahan has released 10 studio albums, selling more than 10 million worldwide, and has received a total of 8 Grammy Award nominations to date, winning 3 (including "Best Rock Song" for "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)" in 2002.
Rob Evan, co-creator of Rocktopia, released the following statement: "The entire Rocktopia team is thrilled to have Pat Monahan join us at the Broadway Theatre. Pat's incredible talent and background lends itself perfectly to our unique musical vision. The fusion we have created with Train's song for the encore is truly exciting!"
