The Memory will live again this weekend! Following the previous weeks' streamings of Andrew Lloyd Webber productions on The Show Must Go On! YouTube Channel, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, Andrew Lloyd Webber: The Royal Albert Hall Celebration, and By Jeeves, it's now time for Lloyd Webber's feline friends to step back into the limelight.

The 1998 release of the hit musical Cats will be made available for free from this Friday, May 8 from 2pm (ET) for a limited 48-hour period (or a limited 24-hour period within the UK).

Not to be confused with the 2019 movie musical Cats, this film is a recreation of the stage show itself, albeit with a reduced running time of less than two hours thanks to some significant cuts. It was filmed at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End in 1997.

Synopsis: "Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, one of the most famous musicals of all time, first exploded onto the West End stage in 1981. 'Memory', one of its many classic songs, became an instant worldwide hit. Since then Cats has smashed records and conquered the world. Boasting an all-star cast headed by Elaine Paige and Sir John Mills, breathtaking visuals and the full digital sound of an eighty piece orchestra, this show will lead you deep into the mysterious world of Cats. Cats - more mesmerising and magical than you could possibly imagine."

Here's a little teaser ahead of this weekend's free streaming, showcasing "The First Lady of British Musical Theatre"...
