The Public Theater has announced a final extension for its current world premiere of Ain't No Mo', written by Jordan E. Cooper and directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, which began previews at the Public's LuEsther Hall on March 12, ahead of an official opening on March 27. Originally scheduled to close on April 21 and following an initial extension to April 28, the limited engagement will now run through to May 5, 2019.

Synopsis: "Ain't No Mo' is a vibrant satirical odyssey portraying the great exodus of black Americans out of a country plagued with injustice. In a kaleidoscope of scenes of the moments before, during, and after this outrageous departure, this extraordinary new work explores the value of black lives in a country hurtling away from the promise of a black president."

The cast of Ain't No Mo' includes playwright Jordan E. Cooper (as Peaches), alongside Marchánt Davis (as Passenger 2), Fedna Jacquet (as Passenger 1), Crystal Lucas-Perry (as Passenger 5), Ebony Marshall-Oliver (as Passenger 4), and Simone Recasner (as Passenger 3). Please note: Hermon Whaley Jr. covers the role of Peaches at all Sunday matinee performances.

The creative team behind Ain't No Mo' features scenic design by Kimie Nishikawa, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Adam Honoré, sound design by Emily Auciello, and hair, wig & make-up design by Cookie Jordan.
