The Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Michael Frayn's comedy Noises Off, directed by Tony nominee Jeremy Herrin, begins previews at the American Airlines Theatre tonight.

The production officially opens on 14 January 2016 and plays a limited engagement through to 6 March 2016.

Synopsis: "Noises Off is the classic show-within-a-show farce. The Opening Night performance of the farce 'Nothing On' is just hours away, and as the cast stumbles through their final dress rehearsal, things couldn't be going any worse. With lines being forgotten, love triangles unraveling and sardines flying everywhere, it's complete pandemonium... and we haven't even reached intermission! Can the cast pull their act together on the stage even if they can't behind the scenes?"

The full cast includes Andrea Martin (Dotty Otley), Campbell Scott (Lloyd Dallas), Tracee Chimo (Poppy Norton-Taylor), Daniel Davis (Selsdon Mowbray), David Furr (Garry Lejeune), Kate Jennings Grant (Belinda Blair), Megan Hilty (Brooke Ashton), Rob McClure (Tim Allgood), and Jeremy Shamos (Frederick Fellowes).

The creative team features scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by Jane Cox, and sound design by Christopher Cronin.

Noises Off premiered on Broadway in 1983. Directed by Michael Blakemore, the production ran for a total of 553 performances and was nominated for a Tony for Best Play. It was revived in 1993, in a production directed by Jeremy Sams which was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Revival.
