Rachel Tucker returns to Broadway in Come From Away

Tucker reprises her Olivier Award-nominated turn as Beverly Bass in the hit Broadway production at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

Rachel Tucker, the Olivier Award-nominated star of the West End premiere of Come From Away, returns to Broadway and reprises her roles of Beverly Bass and Annette in the smash hit Broadway production at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre tonight. As previously reported, Becky Gulsvig played her final performance in the musical on March 1.

Rachel Tucker's previous Broadway credits include the role of Elphaba in Wicked and Meg Dawson in Sting's The Last Ship. Her many UK stage credits include We Will Rock YouWickedThe Who's TommyThe Wizard of OzFarragut North, and Communicating Doors.

Directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley and written by Tony Award nominees Irene Sankoff & David Hein, Come From Away began previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on February 18, 2017, and officially opened to excellent reviews on March 12.

Synopsis: "Come From Away is set against the backdrop of that infamous day in September 2001. In a heartbeat, 38 planes and 6,579 passengers were forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of one small town on the edge of the world. When the world stopped, their stories moved us all."

The creative team behind Come From Away features choreography by Tony Award nominee Kelly Devine, music supervision by Ian Eisendrath, scenic design by Tony Award winner Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Tony Award nominee Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Tony Award winner Howell Binkley, and sound design by Tony Award nominee Gareth Owen.

Come From Away is produced on Broadway by Junkyard Dog Productions.

Come From Away Tickets are available now for performances through September 6, 2020.
