My Left Breast at the McGinn Cazale Theatre



Vital Theatre Company presents a performance by Susan Miller of her Obie Award-winning play My Left Breast to benefit Vital Theatre Company's Mainstage Season.

An Opening Night Benefit performance and Opening Night Party sponsored by Beacon Wines and Spirits on 3 Oct 2008, will be followed by performances on 4 & 5 Oct 2008, at the McGinn Cazale Theatre.

My Left Breast: "I am a one-breasted, menopausal, Jewish, bisexual lesbian Mom." says Susan Miller. The solo act is about relationships, parenthood, cancer, and her ever-changing self .

Susan Miller is an Obie award winning playwright and Guggenheim Fellow whose works include the one-woman play, My Left Breast, which premiered in Actors' Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival (Obie); 'A Map Of Doubt And Rescue' (Susan Smith Blackburn Prize); and 'Nasty Rumors And Final Remarks' (Obie).

Nela Wagman directed the world premiere of My Left Breast by Susan Miller for Actors' Theater of Louisville, for Watermark Theater in New York, where it won an Obie, and throughout the show's national tours.
