"I'm Yours" for a little bit longer! Producers of Broadway's hit musical Waitress have now confirmed that two-time Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz has extended his limited Broadway debut engagement in the production through to February 11, 2018. He was originally scheduled to conclude the run on January 28. This means that Broadway fans will get to see the pairing of Mraz and Waitress songwriter Sara Bareilles for an extra two weeks. As previously reported, Ms. Bareilles returns to the Broadway production as Jenna from January 16 to February 25, 2018.

(NOTE: Due to previous contractual obligations, Mr. Mraz will not be appearing in the production on February 1 and 2.)

Jason Mraz is a multi-platinum recording artist, who won two Grammy Awards in 2010 for "Make It Mine" and "Lucky". He has released a total of five studio albums to date - "Waiting for My Rocket to Come" (2002), "Mr. A-Z" (2005), "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things." (2008), "Love Is a Four Letter Word" (2012), and "Yes!" (2014). He also previously collaborated with Sara Bareilles on "Bad Idea" and "You Matter To Me" from her album "What's Inside: Songs From Waitress".

The principal cast of Waitress currently includes Betsy Wolfe (as Jenna), two-time Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz (as Dr. Pomatter), Maia Nkenge Wilson (as Becky), Caitlin Houlahan (as Dawn), Tony Award nominee Will Swenson (as Earl), two-time Tony Award winner John Cullum (as Joe), Benny Elledge (as Cal), and Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (as Ogie).

Waitress officially opened on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on April 24, 2016, following previews from March 25.

Waitress is the first Broadway musical in history to have four women in the four top creative team spots, with a book by Jessie Nelson, a score by six-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro and direction by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus.

Synopsis: "Based on the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, the musical follows Jenna - a waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy, Jenna fears she may have to abandon the dream of opening her own pie shop forever... until a baking contest in a nearby county and the town's handsome new doctor offer her a tempting recipe for happiness. Supported by her quirky crew of fellow waitresses and loyal customers, Jenna summons the secret ingredient she's been missing all along - courage."

The creative team behind Waitress features scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by Christopher Akerlind and sound design by Jonathan Deans.

Waitress is produced on Broadway by Barry & Fran Weissler and Norton & Elayne Herrick.
