Cast set for The New Group's one in two by Donja R. Love

The world premiere of one in two is set to begin performances at Pershing Square Signature Center on November 19, 2019.

The New Group has now revealed the complete cast for the upcoming world premiere production of one in two, written by Donja R. Love and directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, as part of the company's previously announced 2019-2020 Off-Broadway season.

The cast of one in two includes Jamyl Dobson (as person on the left), Leland Fowler (as person in the middle), and Edward Mawere (as person on the right).

one in two is scheduled to begin previews at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre within the Pershing Square Signature Center on November 19, 2019, ahead of an official opening on December 10 and a limited engagement through January 12, 2020.

Synopsis: "Three young men. One of them will be chosen. They will tell 'his' story. A story they're forced to tell over and over again about his new reality and how he lives with it - until he can't. With riveting simplicity and theatricality, Donja R. Love turns his emotionally frank and lyrical voice to an intimate story that is shared by many. one in two is a play about what theater can do, and what it means to not be alone."

The creative team behind one in two features scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonato, costume design by Andy Jean and lighting design by Cha See.

The New Group's 2019-2020 season also includes the hotly anticipated musical Cyrano, adapated and directed by Erica Schmidt and starring "Game of Thrones" favorite Peter Dinklage, at the Daryl Roth Theatre, as well as the world premiere musical Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, featuring a book by Jonathan Marc Sherman, with music & lyrics by Duncan Sheik (who is also set to star in the production), and the world premiere of The Seagull/Woodstock, NY, written by Thomas Bradshaw (based on the Chekhov classic), at Pershing Square Signsture Center.
