Bad Blood - Malasangre at Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre


Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre presents Bad Blood - Malasangre, by Roberto Ramos-Perea, with an English translation by Charles Philip Thomas, opening at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre on 3 May 2007, following previews from 25 Apr and running through to 20 May 2007.

Bad Blood - Malasangre: Examines the relationship of a young Puerto Rican couple, both professionals, who face the dilemma of her accepting a dream job in El Paso, Texas, or letting their marriage collapse.

Directed by Col�n Valle, Bad Blood - Malasangre features Jazm�n Caratini, Felipe Gorostiza, Francis Mateo, Germ�n Nande and Gladys P�rez.

Note: Performances are performed in English: Wed - Fri and in Spanish: Sat & Sun.

Set design by Randall Parsons, with costumes by Marion Tal�n and lighting by Scott Andrew Cally.

Playwright, actor, director, journalist, researcher and theatre critic Roberto Ramos-Perea has premiered more than 30 plays in Puerto Rico, the U.S.A., Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, M�xico, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. Several of his plays have been translated to English. His work has been awarded numerous prizes including the Premio de Teatro Ren� M�rques del Ateneo Puertorrique�o,the Premio Nacional de Teatro, given by the PEN Club and the highly esteemed Premio Tirso de Molina by the Instituto de Cooperaci�n Iberoamericana del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores in Madrid.
