Alison Leiby's stand-up comedy show Oh God, A Show About Abortion will play a six-week run at the Cherry Lane Theatre. The show begins performances April 25, opens May 5, and closes June 4.

Ilana Glazer presents this latest in a series of comedy shows at the Cherry Lane This season, following Neal Brennan: Unacceptable and Alex Edelman: Just For Us (which has gone on to an encore run at the Soho Playhouse). Leiby previously performed her show at multiple venues throughout New York City in fall 2021, when The New York Times named it the best political comedy of 2021.

Alison Leiby: Oh God, A Show About Abortion (previously titled Oh God, An Hour About Abortion) takes audiences through one summer in her life which "started with a bang and ended with a visit to Planned Parenthood." Leiby dicusses the minutae of the months leading up to the abortion, including her two root canals, how she agonized over what to wear to the abortion, and more. Leiby's previous comedy work includes writing for The President Show and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper on Comedy Central and producing two of Glazer's comedy specials, Comedy Time Capsule and The Planet is Burning.

Lila Neugebauer, who previously helmed The Waverly Gallery on Broadway and The Wolves off Broadway, among others, directs Leiby's show.
