Which way is it to the MCC Theater stage? MCC will host the world premiere of Ana Nogueira's play Which Way to the Stage as part of its spring 2022 season. The show begins performances April 14 ahead of a May 10 opening night, and will run through May 22.

Which Way to the Stage was previously slated for MCC's season under the title Here She Is, Boys. The show takes place outside the stage door of the Broadway musical If/Then in 2015. While a pair of friends, Jeff and Judy, are waiting there to get an autograph from the show's star, they have a conversation that will change their decades-long friendship.

The full cast includes Sas Goldberg as Judy, Max Jenkins as Jeff, Evan Todd as Mark, and Michelle Veintimilla as an actress, bachelorette, and casting director.

The creative team has also been named, with scenic design by Adam Rigg; costume design by Enver Chakartash; lighting design by Mextly Couzin and Jen Schriever; sound design by Sinan Refik Zafar; hair, wig, and makeup design by Domino Couture; and vocal supervision by Liz Caplan. Mike Donahue directs, and Paul McGill choreographs.
