Vineyard Theatre's eagerly anticipated world premiere of The Beast in the Jungle - by the same team that brought you The Scottsboro Boys - has now announced the complete cast and creative team for the production. The new musical features music & lyrics by four-time Tony Award winner John Kander, a book by Tony Award nominee David Thompson and direction & choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman.

Joining Teagle F. Bougere, Irina Dvorovenko, a former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer, Tony Award nominee Peter Friedman, and Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck, will be Maira Barriga, Elizabeth Dugas, Leah Hofmann, Naomi Kakuk, Brittany Marcin Maschmeyer, and Erin Moore.

The Beast in the Jungle begins previews off-Broadway on May 4, 2018, ahead of an official opening on May 23, and a limited engagement through to June 10, 2018.

Synopsis: "Adapted from Henry James' classic 1903 novella, The Beast in the Jungle is the story of John Marcher, a man haunted by personal demons, whose great yet unfulfilled love affair with an unforgettable woman spans decades and continents. With a waltz-inspired instrumental score, and dazzling choreography that traverses the worlds of ballet and contemporary dance, this powerful and romantic tale of love and loss reunites the remarkable creative team behind The Vineyard's acclaimed The Scottsboro Boys."

The creative team also features music supervision by David Loud, scenic & costume design by Michael Curry, lighting design by Ben Stanton, and sound design by Peter Hylenski.

Vineyard Theatre's current world premiere production of The Amateurs, written by Jordan Harrison, continues through to March 29, 2018.

The Beast in the Jungle Tickets are available now for performances through to June 10, 2018.
