'To Kill a Mockingbird' announces in-person rush ticket policy
The show stars Jeff Daniels and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
The Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird is offering in-person rush tickets for its performances. Rush tickets may be purchased the day of each performance at the box office of the Shubert Theatre, where To Kill a Mockingbird is currently playing. Rush tickets are subject to availability.
Rush ticket prices start at $29, and are available on the day of a performance beginning when the box office opens. The box office opens at 10:00AM on Tuesday-Saturday and at 11:00AM on Sunday.
Aaron Sorkin's adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel opened on Broadway in 2018 with Jeff Daniels and Celia Keenan-Bolger (who won a Tony Award for her performance) in the roles of Atticus Finch and Scout Finch, respectively. When To Kill a Mockingbird reopened on October 5 after the Broadway shutdown, the two returned to reprise their roles.
The cast also includes Portia as Calpurnia, Hunter Parrish as Jem Finch, Michael Braugher as Tom Robinson, Russell Harvard as Link Deas, Neal Huff as Bob Ewell, Erin Wilhelmi as Mayella Ewell, Noah Robbins as Dill Harris, Zachary Booth as Horace Gilmer, Gordon Clapp as Judge John Taylor, Patricia Conolly as Mrs. Dubose, Christopher Innvar as Sheriff Heck Tate, Ted Koch as Mr. Cunningham, and Amelia McClain as Miss Stephanie.
The stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird centers around Atticus Finch, who agrees to defend Tom Robinson, an innocent Black man, in a trial where he is accused of assaulting a white woman. His decision draws ire from the residents of pre-Civil Rights Movement Maycomb, Alabama, and his children grow up quickly as they are exposed to the racist attitudes present in their town.
To Kill a Mockingbird tickets are on sale now.
