What's Broadway got to do with it? Well, a lot it seems for Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, resuming its run this fall. Tina - The Tina Turner Musical will continue performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre from October 8. Find out more about Tina - The Tina Turner Musical tickets on Broadway here.

The autobiographical musical details the life of Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee. Rising in the music world, Tina - The Tina Turner Musical charts how she defied her public and private worlds to become the Queen of Rock and Roll, set to her greatest hits including "The Best".

Further casting for Tina - The Tina Turner Musical's Broadway reopening is to be announced.

Tina - The Tina Turner Musical began previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Oct. 12, 2019, ahead of an opening night on Nov. 7, 2019, which Turner attended herself. Speaking about the musical's Broadway return, she said: "It felt like a homecoming. I know the role my story serves; I hope the retelling of it is inspirational, a reminder of our capacity for resilience and a celebration of our ability to overcome adversity together."

In a review for New York Theatre Guide, "Of course the audience can be found dancing and swaying in the aisles during the now inevitable curtain call encores, but then they always do at this kind of show. [Adrienne Warren] has now arrived as a one-woman fireball of energy and exhilaration. But she's also an actor who expertly negotiates the combination of heartache and drive that propelled Turner to stardom."

Tina - The Tina Turner Musical is at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre from October 8.
