'This Land Was Made' sets Off-Broadway cast and creative team

This cast is made! Initial casting has been set for This Land Was Made, a new play by Tori Sampson premiering at Vineyard Theatre this spring. Performances run from May 18 to June 25, with opening night on June 4.
The This Land Was Made cast includes Antoinette Crowe-Legacy as Sassy, Leland Fowler as Drew, Matthew Griffin as Troy, Sean Patrick Higgins as Officer Heanes, Yasha Jackson as Gail, Ezra Knight as MR. FAR, Julian Elijah Martinez as Huey, Curt Morlaye as Gene, and Oliver Palmer as Officer Frey. Additional casting has yet to be annnounced.
On the creative side, This Land Was Made features scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Dominique Fawn Hill, lighting design by Adam Honoré, and sound design by Fan Zhang. As previously announced, Obie Award winner Taylor Reynolds directs.
This Land Was Made takes place at Miss Trish's bar in 1967 Oakland, California. The town is abuzz with social activism that's about to boil over into revolutionary action, but it's all talk for the bar's patrons — until the revolution comes through the doors and entices them all.
