‘This Beautiful Future’ to transfer off Broadway in fall 2022

The play runs at Cherry Lane Theatre for six weeks.

After performances at Theaterlab earlier this year, This Beautiful Future will play an Off-Broadway engagement at the Cherry Lane Theatre. This Beautiful Future begins previews on September 10, ahead of an opening night on September 20, and performances to October 30.

Set during World War Two, This Beautiful Future follows 17-year-old French teenager, Elodie, and 16-year-old German soldier, Otto, as they fall in love for the first time.

This Beautiful Future off-Broadway stars Francesca Carpanini, Angelina Fiordellisi, Austin Pendleton, and Uly Schlesinger.

Jack Serio directs Rita Kalnejais's This Beautiful Future at the Cherry Lane Theatre. The show features scenic design by Frank J. Oliva, costume design by Ricky Reynoso, lighting design by Stacey Derosier, and sound design by Christopher Darbassie.
