The Night of the Hunter at 37 Arts Theatre

Lyric Stage presents The Night of the Hunter, music by Claibe Richardson, book & lyrics by Stephen Cole, based on the novel by Davis Grubb, at 37 Arts Theatre from 26 Sep - 1 Oct 2006 as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The Night of the Hunter: When Ben Harper steals ten thousand dollars from a bank in depression era West Virginia and tells his young son and daughter never to reveal the whereabouts of the cash, he sets in motion one of the most thrilling, frightening, and heartfelt stories ever to fill the pages of a best selling novel.
