The big parade is going on longer! The six-time Tony-nominated revival of The Music Man, starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, has put a new block of Broadway tickets on sale. Tickets are now available for performances through November 27.

Jackman stars as Professor Harold Hill, a con man who poses as a music teacher to swindle small-town residents out of their money. His latest target is River City, Iowa, and while most of the town is fooled by his charm, one person isn't — the local librarian and piano teacher, Marian Paroo, played by Foster. Her plans to expose his scheme, however — and his to skip town and get away with it — are thwarted when they fall for each other.

The Music Man earned a Best Revival of a Musical Tony nomination in 2022, in addition to nominations for Jackman, Foster, and Jayne Houdyshell's performances, Santo Loquasto's costumes, and Warren Carlyle's choreography. The four-star New York Theatre Guide review reads, "Choreography from Warren Carlyle is smartly portioned into knockout numbers — "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Marian the Librarian" — that meet the weight of their anticipation with a vocabulary of movement that's refined and sensual, playful and fresh."

Jerry Zaks directs The Music Man, which is playing at the Winter Garden Theatre.
