‘The Book of Mormon’ announces Broadway reopening cast

The tenth anniversary of 'The Book of Mormon' will take place later this year.

Get ready to say "Hello!" to the returning company of The Book of Mormon, as the full reopening Broadway cast has been named. The Book of Mormon resumes performances at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre from November 5, and The Book of Mormon tickets are on sale now.

Following his Olivier Award-winning turn as Elder McKinley, Stephen Ashfield returns to reprise the role of Elder McKinley. Kevin Clay will play Elder Price, with Cody Jamison Strand as Elder Cunningham, Kim Exum as Nabulungi and Sterling Jarvis as Mafala Hatimbi.

The cast will also feature Lewis Cleale, Derrick Williams, Randy Aaron, Shanel Bailey, J. Casey Barrett, Graham Bowen, Isaiah Tyrelle Boyd, Christian Delcroix, Daniel Fetter, Naysh Fox, Bre Jackson, Keziah John-Paul, John K. Kramer, Ben Laxton, Terrie Lynne, Noah Marlowe, Matthew Marks, Henry McGinniss, Stoney B. Mootoo, Jevares Myrick, Darius Nichols, John Eric Parker, John Pinto Jr., Christian Probst, Jasmin Richardson and Arbender J. Robinson.

The Book of Mormon opened on Broadway in 2011, winning nine Tony Awards including best musical. The original musical follows two Mormon Elders, who are sent on a two year mission to Uganda. In a 2011 review of The Book of Mormon for New York Theatre Guide, Tulis McCall said: "this production bowls you over." 

The Book of Mormon features a book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone. Parker directs alongside Casey Nicholaw, who also choreographs the musical. Scenic design is by Scott Pask, with costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Brian Ronan.

The Book of Mormon is at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre from November 5.
