There's hot new casting news on Broadway! The musical adaptation of the classic film Some Like It Hot has set its full cast ahead of its Broadway premiere. Performances begin at the Shubert Theatre on November 1 ahead of a December 11 opening night.

Newly announced Some Like It Hot cast members include Tia Altinay, TyNia René Brandon, Ian Campayno, DeMarius Copes, Casey Garvin, Devon Hadsell, Ashley Elizabeth Hale, Jenny Hill, K.J. Hippensteel, Abby Matsusaka, Jarvis B. Manning Jr., Brian Thomas Martin, Amber Owens, Kayla Pecchioni, Richard Riaz Yoder, Angie Schworer, Charles South, Brendon Stimson, Raena White, and Julius Williams.

They join previously announced leads Christian Borle as Joe, J. Harrison Ghee as Jerry, Kevin Del Aguila as Osgood, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Sweet Sue, Adam Heller as Mulligan, and Mark Lotito as Spats. Adrianna Hicks stars as Sugar, a role famously originated by Marilyn Monroe on screen.

In Some Like It Hot, musicians Joe and Jerry are forced to flee Chicago after witnessing a mob hit. They disguise themselves and leave with the traveling all-female swing band, Sweet Sue and her Society Syncopators. While on the road, they try to find themselves and find love — especially after meeting Sugar, the band's main singer — but have to figure out how to do so without revealing their identities.

The Some Like It Hot musical adaptation features a book by TV personality Amber Ruffin and Tony-winning The Inheritance playwright Matthew López, with songs by Hairspray songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.
