Fri 20 Aug 2004 'Show Stoppers!' a benefit concert in support of GMHC. A special one-night only, all-star concert SHOW STOPPERS! A Salute to The Best Of Broadway is at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday, 25 Oct at 8pm Stephen Bogardus, Melissa Errico, Randy Graf, Ellen Greene, George Hearn, Carol Lawrence, Priscilla Lopez, Andrea McArdle, Melba Moore, Robert Morse and others to be announced are some of the stars that will perform in this musical event. The one-night only all-star concert salute SHOW STOPPERS! A Salute to The Best Of Broadway will be an evening of song and dance saluting the best of the Great White Way with artists performing favorite show stopping numbers that will benefit an organization that is dedicated to fighting a disease that has cut short � and continues to impact � the lives of so many. Peter Bogyo is producing the musical presentation as a benefit for Gay Men's Health Crisis, a not-for-profit, volunteer-supported and community based organization committed to national leadership in the fight against AIDS. The benefit evening is directed by Graciela Daniele with musical direction by Robert Billig. Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) continues to serve thousands of men, women and children living with and affected by HIV. GMHC has been close to Broadway performers and the theatre community for numerous years. Part of this relationship is represented by the Jerry Herman Theater Desk, which provides GMHC clients with free theatre tickets each week.
