Shirine Babb joins 'A Beautiful Noise' Broadway cast

The actor will join the Neil Diamond bio-musical in the role of the Doctor, replacing Linda Powell, beginning on September 22 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Shirine Babb will join the cast of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical on Broadway later this month. Babb begins performances on September 22 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Babb has previously performed in The Piano Lesson, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Macbeth on Broadway. She now assumes the role of the Doctor in A Beautiful Noise from original cast member Linda Powell, who plays her final performance September 21.

A Beautiful Noise tells the story of how Neil Diamond went from a poor kid in Brooklyn to a globally beloved, multi-award-winning musician. More than two dozen of Diamond's hit songs feature in the show, including "Sweet Caroline" and "Song Sung Blue."
