Shatter: 4 new One-act plays at Ensemble Studio Theatre


The Ensemble Studio Theatre presents Shatter, 4 new One-act plays at the Ensemble Studio Theatre from 16 - 22 May 2007.

The four short plays are:

  • The Last Day
    Written and directed by Justin Quinn Pelegano
    Synopsis: Six New Yorkers face extinction in the World.
  • Antigone Noir
    Written and directed by Destiny Lilly
    Synopsis: The dark worlds of film noir and Greek tragedy collide in this modern musical adaptation of the Sophocles classic.
  • Mali and the Arc of the Covenant
    Written and directed by Andrew Bergh
    Synopsis: An absurdist take on dating in NY and religious relic thievery.
  • Eyez Watchin�
    Written and directed by Andr� Ford
    Synopsis: A distinguished African-American pastor picks up a cunning street hustler in this powerful look at class, faith, and sexuality.

Ensemble Studio Theatre is a not-for-profit developmental theatre founded in 1972 with two primary goals: to nurture individual theatre artists, and to develop new American plays.
