
Samira Wiley, Jin Ha complete 'Proof' Broadway cast with Ayo Edebiri, Don Cheadle
Emmy Award winner Wiley makes her Broadway debut alongside Hamilton alum Ha in the first revival of David Auburn's Pulitzer and Tony-winning drama.

Samira Wiley and Jin Ha will complete the cast of Proof on Broadway, also starring the previously announced Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle. Performances run for 16 weeks only at the Booth Theatre from March 31, with opening night on April 16.
Wiley is best known for her TV performances on The Handmaid's Tale (Emmy Award) and Orange is the New Black (SAG Award), and she has appeared on the London stage in Intimate Apparel and Blues for an Alabama Sky, and off Broadway in Daphne’s Dive. Ha has appeared in NYC shows like Hamilton and Here We Are and on TV shows like Pachinko.
In Proof, Wiley stars as Claire and Ha as Hal, alongside Edebiri as Catherine and Cheadle as Robert. All but Ha make their Broadway debuts with the play.
Written by David Auburn and directed by Thomas Kail, Proof follows the daughter of a genius math professor who finds a revelatory proof of his after his death, and is thrust into turmoil when people begin to question its true authorship. This production is the first revival of the play, which won the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize upon its 2000 premiere.
