Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Joshua Boone join 'Joe Turner's Come and Gone' Broadway cast
The actors will join Taraji P. Henson and Cedric "The Entertainer" in the spring 2026 revival of August Wilson’s drama, directed by Debbie Allen.

Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Joshua Boone are newly announced to join Taraji P. Henson and Cedric "The Entertainer" in Joe Turner's Come and Gone on Broadway, playing in spring 2026 at a date and theatre to be announced.
Tony Award winner Santiago-Hudson (This World of Tomorrow, Lackawanna Blues) will play Bynum Walker, and Tony and Grammy nominee Boone (The Outsiders) will play Herald Loomis. As previously announced, Henson and Cedric will play Seth and Bertha Holly, respectively.
August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone follows a man who, after being released from an illegal enslavement, arrives at the Hollys' Pittsburgh boarding house in 1911, searching for his wife and his sense of self. Debbie Allen directs the second revival of the drama, which premiered on Broadway in 1988 and was first revived in 2009.
