Official Broadway production photos of American Son, starring Kerry Washington & Steven Pasquale, released
An official opening night for American Son is scheduled for this Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Booth Theatre on Broadway.
Producers of the Broadway premiere of American Son, written by Christopher Demos-Brown and directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon, have now released the "first look" official Broadway production photos. Previews began at the Booth Theatre on October 6, 2018, with an official opening set for November 4 and a limited engagement through to January 27, 2019.
The photos include shots of all four American Son cast members: Golden Globe & Emmy Award nominee Kerry Washington (as Kendra Ellis-Connor), Drama Desk Award nominee Steven Pasquale (as Scott Connor), Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan (as Officer Paul Larkin), and Eugene Lee (as Lieutenant John Stokes).
Synopsis: "Do you know where your children are? A Florida police station in the middle of the night; a mother searching for her missing teenage son. American Son is a gripping tale of two parents caught in our national divide, with their worst fears hanging in the balance."
The creative team behind American Son features scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald.
American Son is produced on Broadway by Kerry Washington's Simpson Street, Jeffry Richards, Rebecca Gold, Will Trice, Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Dwyane Wade, Steve Stoute and Nnamdi Asomugha.
American Son Tickets are available now for performances through to January 27, 2019.
